Terms of Service

1. Your account

You need an account to use Oryn. Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the service.

Seats included in your plan may be shared with team members you invite. Each member acts under your company's account and these terms.

2. Plans, credits and billing

Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through our payment provider, Stripe. Plans include a monthly credit allowance that is consumed by AI activity (building and editing sites, generating content and images); top-up credit packs can be purchased separately. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable.

Prices, allowances and plan features are described at the point of purchase and may change with notice. Taxes may apply depending on your location. You can cancel any time from the billing portal — your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

3. Your content and sites

You own the content you upload (text, images, brand assets) and the websites you build with Oryn, including the AI-assisted output that makes up your sites. We claim no ownership over your sites; we host and serve them on your behalf.

You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: storing, processing, rendering and publishing your content, and passing prompts and site context to our AI providers to fulfil your requests.

You are responsible for the content of your published sites — including having the rights to any material you upload, complying with the laws that apply to your business, and the accuracy of claims your site makes to its visitors.

4. AI-generated output

Oryn uses large language models to generate code, copy and imagery. AI output can be imperfect: review your site before publishing. We don't guarantee that generated output is free of errors, unique, or fit for a particular purpose, and identical or similar output may be produced for other users.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Oryn to build or distribute anything unlawful, deceptive (phishing, impersonation, scams), infringing, hateful, or harmful — or to send spam from forms, probe or disrupt the platform, resell the service, or attempt to extract our systems' underlying prompts and models.

We may suspend or remove sites or accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practical.

6. Form submissions on your sites

Visitor messages submitted through forms on your published sites are collected and stored so you can read them in your inbox and receive email notifications. You are the controller of that data: use it lawfully and honour visitors' requests about their own information.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Oryn fast and available but the service is provided "as is", without uptime guarantees. We may add, change or retire features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give you reasonable notice to export your sites.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Embark Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of Oryn. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using Oryn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk for the platform or other users. On termination your published sites stop being served; export your data first.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will notify you (email or in-product) before they take effect. Continuing to use Oryn after changes take effect means you accept them.
